Dear Parents,
This week was Red Ribbon week, and we had a lot of fun dressing silly each day and learning about saying no to drugs. We ended the week with a special spider craft day and our Fall Party, and it was a blast! Thank you PTA!
Here’s what’s coming up in first grade:
• By being responsible and respectful first graders, our class earns pennies for compliments we receive. We have earned 100 pennies, so we get to have a Dollar Party! Our class party will be Monday, November 1. Students may wear their pajamas to school and bring a favorite stuffed animal. We will have a special activity at the end of the school day. Good job, first graders!
• We are needing Crayola washable markers in our classroom. If you have any you could donate, we would be very grateful!
***Important Dates***
Oct 29-Nov 9-Book Fair in the Century library
Nov 1-Our class party!
Nov 2-No school
Nov 3-First grade Character Cadets meeting in the library
Nov 5-Fall Festival
Thank you for all your support at home!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Eckhardt
