Dear Parents,
It's almost time to begin the 2013-2014 school year! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at Parent Orientation, and I have few things to share with you before then:
+ Our JTSD Back to School Swim Party will be August 4th at the Center from 6:30-8:30.
+ Parent Orientation will be Thursday, August 8, from 7:00-7:45. (K-2 Orientation is from 6:00-6:45.) Please have your fourth grader bring in his/her school supplies and take a look around our new classroom. Students will then be supervised on the playground while I share classroom policies and procedures with you.
+ Please take a look at our school supply list and write your fourth grader's name on items not marked **.
+ I am hoping to find parent volunteers who are willing to come to school on Thursdays to help with making copies and various weekly classroom tasks. Please fill out this volunteer form if you are available to help.
+ There are lots of opportunities to volunteer at JTSD! To view volunteer opportunities and sign up, visit Sign Up Genius, click "Find a Sign Up" at the top of the page and use the search box to search jtsdvolunteers@gmail.com.
+ Please remember to subscribe to our blog by email. This ensures that you will not miss any important information this school year.
