Happy Friday! Thank you so much to everyone who was able to make it out for STEAM Night! It was great to see our fourth graders explaining their learning to others. I was a very proud teacher!
Next week in reading, we will be reviewing context clues and author's purpose, and in writing, we will continue to work on our persuasive writing pieces. In math, we will wrap up decimals and fractions and start a new unit on 3-D shapes. In science, we will finish our discussion on mixtures and solutions and begin exploring electricity.
Reminders:
- All fourth graders need to be practicing regularly at home with Study Island and Acuity at Home. The second MAP MADNESS mission is to complete at least 10 more items on Study Island with a score of 70% or higher by Friday, April 7. This will put everyone at a total of 35 completed items. Everyone who completes this second task will enjoy a fun reward that day. Thank you for supporting this learning at home!
- PTA is currently needing volunteers for Family Fun Day, STEAM Night Bake Sale, and for south door car line drop off and pick up. Please consider helping out if you can!
- April 13 will be the second annual PTA Family Fun Day and Kickball Tournament (Staff vs. Parents).
