Happy Friday! Here's the latest news from Room 212:
Peek at the Week
Reading We'll learn how to write summaries next week. Remember: students should be reading for 30 minutes each night and recording the pages they read in the designated place in their assignment books.
Writing We finished our narrative unit this week, so next week we will begin writing opinion pieces.
Math We're moving into rounding decimals next week and will quiz at the end of the week. Practice multiplication facts!
Science We wrapped up our unit on Matter and learned a lot! We will begin learning about Light energy next week.
Social Studies We began our brief landforms unit and students have been researching one of the 22 major US landforms. Next week we will review the North American landforms and be quizzing over all 22 on Wednesday.
**Please help your child stay organized by checking and signing their assignment book each night.
