First Grade News

Dear Parents,

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Here's this week's first grade news:

  • All reading logs are now due.  If you find that you are missing any reading logs, you can print them from here.
  • Our Century Talent Shows are this week. If your first grader is performing, please make sure they know what day they attend rehearsal (a note from Mrs. Mason went home with this information).  Our Talent Shows are Wednesday, May 18 at 1:00 and Friday, May 20 at 9:15 am.
  • Tuesday, May 17th will be our first Careers on Wheels Day here at Century. This is an outdoor event where students explore different careers that they could have-on wheels. There will be dump trucks, police cars, fire trucks, SWAT team, and more.  The St. John's helicopter is also stopping by!
  • Please remember to send your first grader's white t-shirt to school by Friday, May 20th.  I will be tie-dying them over the weekend and we will all wear them on Field Day!
***Important Dates***
  • May 17-Careers on Wheels
  • May 18-Talent Show at 1:00
  • May 20-Talent Show at 9:15 and t-shirts due
  • May 23-Yearbook signing (bring your yearbook!)
  • May 24-Field Day and PTA Meeting/Skate Night
  • May 25-1/2 Day and last day of school

It's going to be a great week!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Eckhardt
