Happy Friday! Here's this week's news:
- I collected August reading logs from all the red folders, so please begin recording books on the September reading log. The number of books your child reads per quarter is recorded on the gradecard, so please remember to write them down on the reading log. Each book should be recorded on one line, and multiple readings count! Thank you!
- If you have not yet replied to my test email, please send me a quick email to let me know I have your email address correct.
- It's time to begin thinking about fall parent/teacher conferences! You should be receiving an email soon with a link to SignUpGenius.com and instructions on how to reserve your conference time slot with the click of a mouse! I will receive email notification when you have chosen your conference time.
- No school Monday, September 5th!
- Tuesday, September 6th is PTA Skate Night.
- Please note that letter reversals and incorrect letter formation will be counted incorrect on Friday spelling tests. For additional practice, I have added lined paper and the handwriting prompts I use to teach letter formation to our Study Tools section.
