Oh happy day! My home computer is finally fixed! I am so ready to get back to blogging up a storm about all our favorite first graders. For now, here's the latest news in first grade:
- October 14 is the last day of first quarter, so I will be filling out first quarter grade cards. I will need to know how many books your first grader has read at home first quarter, so October reading logs will be due Wednesday, October 12. After that date, please begin recording books on November's reading logs, and those books will be counted on second quarter's grade card. Thank you!
- Picture re-takes will be Friday, October 21. The office does not have enough information packets to pass one out to everyone, so please let me know if you would like for me to send one home. If your child is getting school pictures retaken, you will need to return the previous pack of pictures from the first picture day. If your child did not have pictures taken on the first picture day, you will need to fill out a form in the office to have pictures retaken.
- Next Friday, October 14th is a half day of school. School will dismiss at 12:45. Lunch will still be eaten at school at our regular lunch time.
- October 18th and 20th are Parent/Teacher Conferences! You will be receiving a conference time reminder soon.
