Dear Families,
I'm so excited to share with you that our class has filled a hundreds chart full of compliments! These compliments are from our enrichment teachers, other teachers and from me, and now that we have 100 compliments, we are ready to treat ourselves to a special day.
Our class has decided we would like to have a "camp out" day in our classroom. This means students may wear their pajamas and bring their sleeping bags or a blanket and a stuffed animal. We'll do our reading, writing, and science in the comfort of our "camping" gear. Students will need to bring appropriate shoes for recess, and blankets, sleeping bags, and stuffed animals will need to remain in our room when we leave to go to recess, lunch, and enrichment.
We will have our classroom camp out on Wednesday, October 16th. Encourage your child to be aware of the weather when selecting pajamas, and students must still wear appropriate shoes for recess and for traveling around the building. Please do not send in stuffed animals that make any kind of noise or play music.
Great job, fourth graders!
